Rochester

Saturday - another slow start and wondering what to do?  OH visited MIL in care home and I pottered and then pottered some more.  No.1 and JC decided on a trip out to Sevenoaks and I suggested that they had lunch/dinner out.  OH wanted to stream the game but found out kick off wasn't until 5.30 so he decided to come with me for a trip to the fabric shop.  I bought more fabric (still not sure what I will make) and also an impromptu dress purchase (although when I came out of the fitting room OH said - Demis Roussos............anyone who knows, will know but I now have an image in my head of a fat bloke in a Kaftan and my wafty gold number will never feel quite the same when I wear it?!).  I also bought No.1 a pair of funky sunglasses - can never resist buying her a gift.

Home for the first half hour of the game then early dinner at a restaurant we have been to before but service was sub par and I picked the wrong thing on the menu!!  However the wine was nice and it was good to get out for a bit.
