Eglwysbach Show
Today we finally make it to the Eglwysbach Show, beautifully situated on the banks of the river Conwy. The weather is as glorious as the setting, and the scene is full of people enjoying the sunshine as well as the usual range of agricultural and horticulture competitions.
As a first time visitor, I’m unsure when or where various exhibits or competitions will be taking place - getting hold of a programme would definitely have helped - so it’s just a case of wandering slowly around and seeing what’s happening: magnificent shire horses, bizarre chickens, more breeds of sheep than you could possibly imagine, fancy dress pony riders, flower arrangements using a kitchen utensil…………
I’m so pleased I’m feeling up to visiting this wonderful event. As is often the case, the people provide as much interest as the exhibits, so today’s set is rather extensive I’m afraid!
Once more, apologies for being so far behind with journals!
