Betton Grange

A week or so ago I posted a blip of Betton Grange arriving at the railway on the back of a low loader.  It has now been fully inspected and tested and after a couple of test runs through the week it entered service yesterday.  I thought I would get a shot of it this morning so headed off across Kelling Heath to Windpump Crossing.

Even though it was a warm day there was a good show of steam as it came up the hill and it sounded superb.  I'll have to try and get a few more shots of it in different places along the line during its visit.
