Ladies who Lunch… again

Today was JR’s birthday. But she didn’t have a day off from the gym!

Hazel came over and we all went for lunch to the local favourite restaurant, ‘Left Field’. The fashionistas were keen to wear their dresses, which are not often appropriate, even in a Scottish ‘summer’. But they were worn today! Could you believe it - warm, no wind, sunshine!!!

So we strolled across the Links, pleased that we hadn’t booked anywhere in the madness that is town. And what a delicious treat we had. We had a splendid seat by the window, looking out over the Links towards Arthur’s Seat. Perfect.

We came back for a wee sit out in our sunny back garden. Elizabeth and Archie joined us later.

JR has had a rather nice birthday. And so she should have!

The end of the Games! I have SO ENJOYED it all (with my new eyes!!) What amazing athletes. And SO WELL DONE, FRANCE! You pulled it off, Paris.
