Bookends

I road my motorbike into Bristol this morning first thing for my yellow fever vaccination appointment.  Bristol's restrictions on cars and parking, plus the bike's ability to utilise the bus lanes, mean that getting into Bristol on a motorbike is a doddle - whereas taking a car into Bristol is a nightmare.

Last night' temperature and high humidity made sleeping a little tricky, and I've been playing catchup with that today as a result. Still the weather is already cooler this afternoon so it's fortunately only a short term problem.

The new carpet has been fitted any my brother Brentastic very kindly helped with putting the furniture back, so we are sorted in the lounge at last following the building work and redecoration.

All of which left very little time for photography so I've defaulted to the easy shot - another Common Darter getting ready to pounce - it's a bookend for yesterday's image.  This one was taken with the 400mm f4.5 and the TC 1.4x.
