Happy and sad

Honey! The golden stream. Gill helped me with the extraction and we were pleased with the results, about 30 lbs of honey. Not nearly as much as in a good season, but a great deal better than I was expecting.
And that took my mind off what else was happening. Bonnie had to go in for spaying. It’s horrible leaving her behind there but she was in very professional hands. We collected her at 3.30 and she managed a little wag of her tail, but she is still very groggy and hasn’t eaten.  She has a charming pink T-shirt to wear!
She should be a bit more herself tomorrow and then we will have to prevent her from running about!
