Perseids meteor shower

So at 11.30pm (last night) Martin says ‘Do you want to pop down to the harbour to see the Perseids meteor shower?’ … so I said yes, and off we went.

I remember from looking at the Northern Lights earlier in the year, people said as well as trying to find somewhere away from light pollution, you need to let your eyes acclimatise to the night sky …

So twenty minutes later we were treated to this starry night.

It was so so lovely and the iPhone camera probably does not do it justice, but there were so many stars appearing. It must be amazing in a dark sky park.

Quite magical really.
