To a Butterfly

I've watched you now a full half-hour;
Self-poised upon that yellow flower
And, little Butterfly! indeed
I know not if you sleep or feed.
How motionless!--not frozen seas
More motionless! and then
What joy awaits you, when the breeze
Hath found you out among the trees,
And calls you forth again!
Part of a longer poem by William Wordsworth (1801)

A disturbed night - lashing with rain and a lot of rodent activity - but the morning came bright, sunny and warm - and busy. I was interviewed by Radio Kerry - a slot between a discussion on electric cars and the Rose of Tralee - on wells of course for it's a busy week for that kind of thing with the Assumption coming up on the 15th. It went very fast and then we rushed down to Kitchen Cove for a quick swim. Lovely. Then we rushed off to the Heron Gallery for lunch with Finola. Also lovely.
The afternoon has been pretty lazy actually. Butterflies and a lot of wasps out enjoying the warmth, along with the humans.
