Dog days ...

... are over :(

Fossey's family are due back in a couple of hours, so we're spending the last few hours quietly sitting by the pond, listening to the ducks. Well, not sitting by it now as such, we're indoors, but I've opened a window so's we can still hear the ducks!

It's been fun and I shall miss her, but she is very much loved by her family and I know they've missed her ... They've been texting me for updates! I've e-mailed them everyday with an update and photos, so they know she's been having fun.

Tomorrow I start two weeks of daily shifts at Pickleberry, so at least I'll have something to fill the void. But it won't be the same ...
