Yellow Lichen and Blocked Harbours

I spotted this lichen a couple of days ago but I couldn't get near enough to take a photo. Today we walked from the blocked harbour in Portgordon to Buckie and back, and this post was by the roadside. I believe it is Xanthoria calcicola or a 'big yellow lichen'.

Our walk out of Buckie took us to Buckpool, where we found another harbour that was blocked!  It opened in 1857 and is sturdily built, but was not a success.  It silted up and was eventually filled in with local pebbles in the 1970s, and is now a play area. My extra doesn't do it justice really, but does show a well built stine harbour, but without water or boats.
