Topping Up
I popped to Tuppenny Barn this morning. It’s an education centre for children focussed on organic food production. Each Thursday they have a shop selling their own and other local organic fruit and vegetables. I visit so I can top up on things I haven’t got at the allotment - tomatoes and peppers, for example. It’s always an interesting and inspiring place to visit. I particularly like to have a look in their vegetable garden to see what’s growing and how they are doing it.
It’s been a wet and windy day, feeling more like October than August.
Grateful:
- To Andy for his help to lower of height of the allotment shelter I built. It was much easier to lift and screw things with two pairs of hands.
- To Merlin for his patience sitting in the rain at the allotment whilst I pruned a plum tree which had got out of hand.
- For a cosy and relaxing evening.
