Schwarzee

This morning we were up early again before sunrise to go play 9 holes of golf at 7am. The greens were covered in dew and so it makes putting a bit trickier as the ball gets so wet. It is starting to feel milder in the very early mornings now, a sad reminder that soon summer will be changing into autumn. I don't mind autumn but I don't like winter! We enjoyed our golf very much and then headed back to the apartment for breakfast and for Luke to start work.

After breakfast Gavin and I took Xena for a walk up the valley behind the apartment to Laret - it's a favourite walk as there is plenty of water from the streams so Xena loves it as when she gets too hot she can cool off in the water. There were many butterflies about today, please can someone help identify the ones in the extras? I think the first one may be a Scotch Argus or an Arran Brown, the second one a silver washed fritillary and the third some kind of ringlet? From Laret we walked along this lake, Schwarzee, which is the same area we walked the other day when we got caught in rain. Today there were many swimmers in the lake and people enjoying the hot weather. It was a good walk, about 2.5 hours and not too steep so not bad on the legs today!

We got back to the apartment for lunch. After lunch we cycled down the hill to the supermarket to pick up a few things for the weekend.

I have not been feeling that great today with tummy cramps and feeling a bit off. I realised that the scoop of sorbet I had yesterday was not dairy free sorbet but real ice cream. I had bought a delicious Movenpick mango sorbet last week and yesterday when I had a scoop it was not what I had bought. I think someone finished the sorbet and replaced it with mango ice cream. I am lactose intolerant and this has had such an affect on me. It will hopefully settle down soon.

We have some wetter weather moving in on Sunday, and hopefully it does not arrive early as tomorrow morning Gavin and Luke are going paragliding. I am not crazy about the idea at all but they are both thrill seekers who have always wanted to do this.
