Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Archie and I set off to Morningside to get him a new collar tag. I had a message from someone saying they’d found the lost one and where they had left it. Kind of them. But I couldn’t find it, so a new one was needed.

There was a half hour wait for it to be done, so I popped to the cafe - jam packed! So I popped to the pub. It’s a very picturesque pub, but the proprietors are famously unfriendly, unless you’re a regular. Many locals just won’t go there, but we always bring visitors, as it’s unique.

A beer and some crisps and a photo opportunity, then back to collect the tag. Funnily enough, I had another check for the lost one on the way home, and there it was! I’ve got two now. And wasted £15. £15 on a dog tag!! I must be mad!!!

We walked all the way home (7,675 steps) and came a bit of a detour to pass the pea shop. Yes! Another big box ready for me (and others).

JR has gone out to the opera with Hazel, and left instructions for a nice salad for tea…

NOPE. I’m perfecting my air fryer chips! I am still adapting my secret irresistible seasoning. YUM YUM!
