fun fun fun

"Early" morning walk with the woofer, before the heat was too much - we were back by 9am for breakfast.. I really must try to do this more often, but ıt's so hard when you are a night owl with insomniac tendencies..... (me, not Rufus hahahaha)

Much of the day was spent (slowly and somewhat lethargically) organising my craft room, (at last) until a long long shower before Rufus and I left home not long after 7.30.  We strolled along the sea front in the evening sun until we arrived at Esinti restaurant to meet ex-colleague  but still friend and sometimes neighbour Melissa and Orhan A., plus their guests, for a long and enjoyable evening of fun conversation (and dinner).  At some point another customer had a Testi Kebab*, which Esinti owner manager Orhan Ciftçi always has served with much pomp and merrymaking, including fireworks and Turkish circle line dancing - always fun for the holiday makers - that authentic Turkish touch. .
providing the subject for my daily photo :)

*Testi kebab: lamb stew with veg and onions slowly cooked in.a sealed clay pot which you smash to open and eat the contents !  Traditionally from Capadoccia region of Turkey.
