Missed

Quite a lot of today was spent writing a funding application.  In between we sat outside next door (till it rained) catching up with a lot of chatter and laughter.  Some Festival reviews were shared and we also put the world to rights.

Later I prepped the meal for M and H.  We had a lovely evening, though chat about J coming meant I burned the honey filled glaze beyond redemption, at least I know the smoke detectors work!  This is the first time I've entertained anyone in the house since they were here over  a year ago. 

Half way through dinner the vixen appeared but by the time I got the camera opened she'd vanished into the bushes and was off next door.

After M and H left I watched some tv and then spotted the moon over the back but a lousy photo so I've stuck with the 'not there' fox.
