Look Bee-fore entering...
Crab spiders are some of the coolest, at least in this part of the planet, spiders. Most don't produce a web, some "bungy-jump" onto capture their prey, and some just hang and wait to pounce.
They also camouflage themselves depending upon the colour of flower they perch upon. I'm not sure if it's the same species, but different colours, or different species, but typically I see yellow with pink or white stripes on yellow flowers, pink with yellow of white stripes on pink flowers, and white with pink or yellow stripes on white flowers. This one seems a little confused with colour choice, although these roses tend to fade to a very light pink later in the day.
A few years back I found one on a Spiraea bush that had capture a full-size Bumble Bee that was ~10x the size of the spider!!!!
