Temperatures are
cooling, the season changes
quietly...calmly...

I was out on my deck getting a pre-sunrise photo before 6. I dawdled a bit in the kitchen before taking my leave at 6:30 to head downtown to Riverside Park. 

I parked by the Uji Friendship Garden so I could walk part way up the bike path towards the bridge. 

I got a shot of the Celtic Stones but there are no marmots showing here. This was their favourite hangout. I'm finding it hard to believe they would be hibernating in August. 

My surprise today was finding the "survivor tree' in the river channel seems to have become a recreation property. I see a chair on the deck and a pleasure craft docked beside it. That really made me laugh. 

I got a shot of my mountains behind the confluence. I did a quick lap around the rose garden and stuck my camera over the fence at the community garden to catch the sunflowers.

I came home with breakfast and expect to be engaged with paperwork for most of the day. I'm so relieved that our days are getting cooler.
