The owl on the left if the one I made earlier in the week. He turned out completely differently to my plan. This often happens when I make "quirky" items - it's almost as if they take on a life on their own.
I really enjoyed my class last week - the teacher is challenging but in a good way and got us all taking from the start. There are seven of us in the group and I'd meet four of them in aghaidh ri aghaidh (face to face) classes I have taken. This will make working together easier.
We went through to Perth today. First stop was Gillies to look at carpets for the hall and stairs. We found one we liked and the fitter will come on Monday to take measurements and also let us look at samples in situ. I'm looking forward to get this next step (well several really ..... :-) ) done.
We also went and had a look a couple of bathroom and kitchen showrooms. This proved helpful in generating ideas to help in focusing down on what we want.
Chaidh sinn gu Pearit. Bha sinn ag iarraidh brat-ùrlair ùr a cheannaich. chunnaic sinn brat-ùrlair a bha còradh rinn.
