bit of a milestone

After four years of weekly hospital visits I had what I hope will prove to be my last ever session today. Having been treated off and on for short and long term periods for 24 years, during these last few years I had the benefit of a cracking NHS consultant who sussed out what needed to be sussed out, uncovered a 20 year old misdiagnosis and worked out how to manage the matter at hand. Bit of an achievement and will have a huge impact on my quality of life, never thought id get there; sending her flowers is the least I can do.
