Mamilie!

We had a gorgeous 3 hour drive to Alsace. Stunning scenery... We had a really warm welcome from my uncle and aunt (extra) who had made us a delicious lunch complete with a fantastic bottle of red. So so good to have time with them. After an afternoon catching up over good coffee we left them to find the apartment we'd booked near to my grandma, Mamilie.
Late afternoon we went to Mamilie's for a light dinner and viewing of all sorts of family photo albums! Soooo wonderful to see her, it's been too long.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Safe travels.
2) Reconnecting with some of the French family and getting news on others!
3) Memories of childhood times with these special folks.
