Spey Bay

We haven’t been to Spey Bay for years so it was a happy morning as we reminisced about family members who have accompanied us over the years. We scanned the sea for dolphins but none made an appearance. We did see an estimated couple of hundred merganser close to shore waiting for the incoming tide to bring their lunch into the mouth of the river.
Again we dodged most of the rain although there were some threatening clouds.
In the afternoon we headed inland, following the River Spey to Craigellachie where we are spending a couple of nights.
