A day of contrast. This morning we watched Landon play his first competitive soccer game. He scored an early goal but his team ran out losers 2-5

Both children went with their respective mothers this afternoon leaving us free to embark on a craft beer tour on which we sampled 16 different beers.

The Sprinter train took us to the Inzane brewers in Vista where we were met by Miss Elizabeth and her son who joined us for the reminder of the tour.

She drove us to Oceanside to Booze Brothers and then to Stone brewery where we rounded off the tour before being driven back to San Marcos where we had a Thai meal to soak up the excess alcohol.

A fine day indeed
