A few hours looking after small boy as minky was taken off to Jules's party and the s-i-l was off golfing in Fife. Oh, he can be a wee cross thing. He didn’t like that jacket I squeezed him into. He bellowed and yelled. And then fell asleep as soon as we headed out. An enjoyable time for me as the coffee van was plying its trade in Victoria Park. Does anything other than trade get plied? Wood, obviously.
And much much later… tarrraaa!!! A birthday celebration. Along at Fingal, the old NLB ship renovated at much expense (£5.5m) and turned into a floating hotel and restaurant. Oh, it’s rather good. And the company was excellent as you’d expect. Especially as she picked up the bill.
