Spa Day

I couldn’t resist blipping this mourning dove and her two female house finch companions, all perched together on the birdbath. They practically flew in at the same time so I didn’t dare move for a better shot knowing they’d take off, all at the same time • After a routine eye exam (for me) we stopped at the river for a short visit before heading home. It’s been another beautiful late summer day. The fog burned off late morning and it’s been sunny ever since • Western honey bees, gray squirrels, hummers, peck’s skippers, songbirds, hummingbird moth, small butterflies - all out and about enjoying the afternoon • Peace & Love
