Day 2 Photoshoots

Today we started the day with a little explore. Katie and I walked to a lake not too far from our friends' house. We followed a fun track with lots of woodland bits to explore. Katie picked a very pretty bunch of wild flowers for Lizzie, including what looked like purple dandelions. Part way round the lake, Lizzie and baby Anna met us, having driven because the path wasn't suitable for the pram. We walked some more around the lake. A fly landed on Katie's finger and stayed there for quite a long time as we walked round. She was very impressed to have a pet fly to take for a walk. We found a field of horses including a mummy with quite a small foal.

By the time Katie and I had walked home, Anna had gone down for her midday sleep. It was good timing as it meant we could make pizza together. Katie had a lot of fun doing it. She wasn't hugely impressed with the finished product, choosing after one slice to have soup instead. Mummy and Lizzie really liked it though.

When Anna woke up, we did a mini-photo shoot for her. Katie played in the basket that we had for her too, in her swimming costume as she'd just been in the paddling pool and garden. The two of them are absolutely smitten with each other.

The last exciting part of the day was meeting lovely blip friends!! Katie and I met Becky and all her boys. We visited two different parks and had fun in a fabulous graffiti tunnel doing some photos for them too. Katie got on really well with Bailey particularly. We had a great time! She ate a giant tea after all the walking. I had barely finished her story before she was asleep in my arms.
