French Lavender

Another from my archives as day 2 sees me confined to the house.
This French Lavender we planted as adult plants, and in their first year did well. However, the following spring saw nothing. A great shame as the bees enjoyed them. I suspect slugs,  though the soil is very poor there. 
Enrich we shall and try again.
