California poppies bringing a splash of colour to one of the allotment borders. I sowed a whole packet of these seeds but just one survived. The tiny plant which grew has turned into a giant!

A day preparing for a weekend trip which included a trip to the allotment to prepare a bag of vegetables for my sister. I also made another batch of courgette chutney.

Grateful to Andy who did some post basing at the allotment - tough going in the solid ground of summer.
