The last...

...day of August, the last day of Summer, and the last strawberries of the season.

I know you can get strawberries all year round these days but I only ever buy them in the Summer months, when they’re at their best.

An early morning visit from the Virtual Ward doctor. The patient seemed to be improving a bit yesterday, but back in bed all day again today. The morning sunshine quickly disappeared and it’s been a dismal, overcast day, though supposedly 20 degrees, but it didn’t feel like that.
