...day of September, the first day of Autumn, and the first Mince Pie of the season!

If you can buy and eat Hot Cross Buns all year round, why can’t you do the same with Mince Pies? Sadly they’re only available from September until Christmas so you’ve got to start eating them as soon as possible!

A morning visit from the VW ACP who administered IV antibiotics, the fourth kind, as the patient has now developed a chest infection on top of the existing infection. Late afternoon a second ACP arrived and administered IV fluids which really perked up the patient. Managed to get Dad downstairs for his tea and he ate the most he has eaten in ten days. 

A muggy overcast day of 22 degrees, with the predicted thunderstorms arriving mid afternoon, bringing an hour and half of torrential rain.
