Turning orange ..

for September.

A cooler, greyer day with a bit of dampness first thing but no sign yet of the predicted thunder storms, doesn't have the right sort of feel it’s certainly not humid! Heat on in church this morning! 

In the greenhouse the pumpkin is still growing, it started changing colour earlier in the week and it’s now looking quite orange to match the coming season.
I hope it keeps growing and hangs on a while so we can take it to the girl's next month.

I found a few blackberries in the garden yesterday and I’ve taken the ones I have left in the freezer out so that I can have a go at making ValC’s lemon berry pudding for today’s tea.
