The Winner

Yesterdays blip was the golf comp, todays is the lunch and a photo of the overall winner, Ken Robertson being presented with his trophy, from our sponsors wife, a bottle of brandy, 2 brandy goblets and a goody bag courtesy of our sponsors.

Roy and I had worked really hard to make sure the results were correct, but as is the way of life we made a mathematical error and awarded a prize to someone who should not have been in the running, fortunately this guy had the good grace to surrender his prize, and after a few hurried calculations we awarded the prize to the correct person. Fortunately it wasn't the winner it was one of the minor placings.

I orgainsed lunch for 60 people, typed out menus, place settings etc, made sure that people who did not like each other were not sat at the same table!! Collected all the money for the lunches, assisted Roy with the prize giving, took the photos, finally arrived home at about 6 o/clock and collapsed.
