Day 6 in England
Another busy day before our first days back at work and school.
Lots of playing today. Dolls with Chloe choosing clothes for school. Our boy doll, Josh, has now been renamed Dosh after a 5 minute attempt at trying to say Josh…unsuccessfully?!
Building a village and farm with Daddy, who insisted on having a picture to copy but had to settle for imagination instead! Luckily there are big green pieces of LEGO which nicely play the role of grass. Whilst playing with her village people I overheard her say “Okay, you can do that but only if I hit one million subscribers. Guys hit like and subscribe.” She’s clearly a modern child.
Not long after we had a longggg music session singing away to Flowers which has become the anthem of our household (sorry neighbours!). Her favourite part of the song is the chorus where daddy jumps in with silly questions for her, for example “I can buy myself flowers…Where do you get the money for that?” It makes her laugh every single time. She loves cracking out the Uncle (Michael) Jackson moves especially the moon dance (moonwalk).
After lunch we headed to the pool for some swimming with Auntie Bea, Heidi, Cici&Vik aka Vikster (the monster). She really enjoyed herself and still remembers how to swim! She practised diving down to pick up the rocket and many running races. Will definitely take her back soon. The other thing she didn’t like was being so cold afterwards. Poor thing is gonna take a while to adjust to England!
Finished watching Princess Tiana before bed then fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.
She’s too excited about starting school tomorrow, let’s hope it stays that way! Just an afternoon visit tomorrow hoping to start full time on Tuesday.
