Surprise Encounter …

… with three rare Wallcreepers today right under the vertical cliff beneath the télécabine mid station (behind Josiane in extra). We couldn’t believe it, and what a present it was after a tough 2 hour climb to that point. There was no other wildlife as everything else had disappeared, probably because of the helicopters flying in the area, removing the scaffolding from the reconstruction of the huge top télécabine station which had burned down a couple of years ago! 

An afternoon spent with baby Maude and her Mum and Dad. A photo of us all in extra too. Now she is happily gurgling as she has her last feed of the day before going to bed.  We are besotted!
