Another new author for me

Hilary McKay..Sometimes I read  childrens' books. This one is a bit Cazalet-ish ( a quintet by Elizabeth Jane Howard) for a younger audience. I've had this book for a year or more but only started reading it the other day..I shall seek out more by the same author. 

As for the film I saw with S, Blink Twice, it turned out to be horror, not a thriller. And I always pick horror films by mistake when I go to the cinema with my most sensitive friends ! Poor S, he had never been to the cinema in Stroud before and he was sitting with me in the totally empty auditorium (we were the only viewers) saying, 'i don't think I will sleep very well tonight'. Anyway ,I don't recommend it unless you like the sight of women rushing around in blood stained white nighties, having horrible things done to them. Of course, lots of people do like Thst Sort of Thing. The soundtrack and the setting were gorgeous. You can keep the rest. 

Lots of walking today. Over 14,000 steps. Two clients referred back to the GPS for further referrals that we can't make.
