Young moorhen

The day got off to a good start and Mr Rat and I went for a short walk, there were loads of ducks, moorhens and the swans (but no Little grebe) around.
It then went downhill and I spent a lot of time on phone or in person trying to help a friend, not very successfully it turns out. It was hard work but I did have a run and meeting with the group in the evening which helped deal with some of the stresses.
