Little grebe

You'll have to take my word for it! Nice colours, anyway.
Woke to the sun shining, but with a very autumnal feel.
Gave Keepfit a miss but did get the shopping done and a repeat of yesterday's run, slightly quicker and no rain.
After lunch went to visit an environmental project to see what was done with a bit of land left when a school was demolished. It's been developed for community use and water management and there are plans for a similar project in a green area with a buried burn not far from the Community Centre. The aim is to reduce the flooding risk in the nearby areas. There was time for a little bit of cycle watching when I got in but the nice views (I know they are there as I've been there) were obscured by low cloud. More exciting riding, though.
