Autumn sun

Yesterday's postponed cycle ride did happen and it was a lovely 15 mile circuit in the Angus countryside. The sun shone, there was a cooling breeze and not too many hills! The longest ride I've done for nearly a year (though I wouldn't want to do another one tomorrow!).
We finished with hot, filled rolls from the local van and then came home and had lunch!
The afternoon was spent pottering in the garden or sitting enjoying it and in the evening we had a run in the woods where it was pleasantly cool. It was probably the hottest day since mid-June.
