Paralympians

Back to Brownies today. Luckily I’ve booked the hall as the weather is still unpredictable. We only had 6 girls. One was I’ll, 4 have turned 10. Two have moved up swimming groups , one had to choose between dance and Brownies and the others have started other after school groups. So I’m hoping I can get some more girls otherwise we might have to close the unit. We’ll just about cover the cost of the hall. Luckily I do have some funding left so that should cover the subs to girlguiding which is likely to be around £50 per member.
Today we designed an outfit for a paralympian. Had some games wearing blindfolds. We tried to pass a ball using our feet and had a go at badminton.
Afterwards I went to the point for a walk. Lots of Sandwich terns around and one artic Skua.
Quite cold but nice to be near the water :)
