We've been gambling!

....and spent $2.00, won 60 cents and then lost it again.

Farmerboy and I flew up to Auckland this afternoon, as I am attending the NZ School Trustees Association Conference being held over the next 3 days. I am the Deputy Chairperson of our school board, so I've come here to learn more about being on the Board.

After tea tonight we went and had a look at the casino. What a huge place - and apart from the poker machines, neither of us could understand how any of the games were being played. So we decided to give the pokies a go......and the rest is history. We left shortly after that - both of us deciding that the casino really isn't the type of place were we really wanted to hang out.

It's a special day tomorrow, but more about that tomorrow.....
