Busy day

Quick walk with the dogs then over to Luxulyan to check on my friends dog. Spent an hour playing with her in the garden, then took my dogs for a walk in luxulyan valley (unfortunately Eva suffered during lockdown and became very reactive towards other dogs so I couldn't take her as well). It was an interesting 3 and half mile walk, with loads of industrial relics around. At one point Dina jumped down into the leat running along the old tramway, unfortunately it was filled with black sluggy stuff rather than water, but then she couldn't get back up the bank..... Keely was amazing she jumped in and seemed to try and show Dina how to do it (but she has much longer legs) I tried to call Dina down the leat to get out where there was a rock to help her, Keely jumped in again and seemed to show her which way to go and what I was trying to get her to do. But Dina just got frantic and just kept trying to get out. Only thing left for me to do kneel down accept I was going to get covered in horrible black stuff, grab her collar and pull next time she tried to jump. Success, all be it rather muddy.
We all enjoyed the rest of the walk, although at one point we had to walk down a concrete staircase open on both sides except a metal handrail, once again Keely did it no trouble but Dina wouldn't until I put her lead on and walked her down beside me.
After our lovely walk I went back to my friends and took Eva out for a lead walk around the village.
