Orchid

I was given an orchid by my friend back in June and it has been carrying about 9 flowers until about 10 days ago when 7 of them all fell off very suddenly having gone limp in a matter of hours. I was delighted one stem seemed to be carrying on with its two flowers.. then they also fell off but now one more has just opened.. how lovely!  They are extraordinary plants and I don't hold much hope for me to keep it going.. no idea what i am doing with it.. and perhaps overwatered it killing the first lot of flowers.. hmm. 
Still, I will endeavour to keep this one going for a few months and hope that perhaps another stem will appear?
Today has been a miserable dark and cool day.. the threat of rain in the air all day but we actually only had one heavy rain shower this morning and the rest of the day has just been leaden skies. 
Nothing much to report otherwise
