Rosebay Willowherb

Back Blip
Quite a bit more cloud as the breeze off the North Sea continues. I go out before morning coffee to get a couple of photos. In the blip, most of the rosebay willowherb plants are now releasing seeds. Very few plants still have flowers.

After morning coffee, partner and I get the bus to Glasgow. It takes 1/2/ hour longer than the train, but we can take advantage of free bus travel. The weather is a tad brighter than Edinburgh. But even here, the easterly has blown the clouds in. We have a nice late lunch of soup and sandwiches, then wander around the city centre for a bit.

We forego afternoon coffee in lieu of an early tea. We have to pick up tickets for an Elvis Costello concert at the Theatre Royal / King's Theatre. Extra shows a ticket window recovered from the original Glasgow King's Theatre. The concert was excellent, however, we were not permitted to use mobile phones to take photos.
