Sparrow

This morning I worked on a mammoth task whittling a long leet of 130+ applicants to a manageable short leet of 11 possible interviewees.  Do people still use the leet word? I do but I think that long/short list is/are probably in more common usage. Luckily I wasn't on my own to do this job but it still took a long time to go through all the applications and discuss them. I'd taken biscuits which I think was a good job. 

I walked to where we were meeting. It was really quite chilly when I set off but it is a lovely sunny day. There was a big crowd of sparrows (or is this a dunnock?) flitting about and also, to my surprise, a good number of swallows. 

I'm preparing for a busy family weekend with many comings and goings so I'm off to do some prep now.
