A well decorated canal boat

After a swim I sorted out my containers on my balcony, planting small chrysanthemums and some self seeded forget me nots that had grown in another container there!

The weather was so changeable today…cold to start , then very sunny, then rain, then cold, then more rain.
I did a quick bike ride circuit alongside the river in between showers ,and saw five canal boats moored outside Hampton Court Palace. Four were very plain but this one caught my attention. So many ducks and other animals on display among the plants on the roof. There were also lots of little ducks inside on little shelves in each window! This boat was from Sowerbridge which is near Halifax in Yorkshire…a long way from Hampton Court.
