Rose

It’s my husbands birthday today and we had booked into a restaurant in Exeter for a meal to celebrate. As it was a beautiful sunny day we took a short stroll around Exmouth before catching the train in. The river estuary was very quiet and peaceful. Quite a contrast to Exeter but in a way the lively atmosphere and lovely weather with people sitting outside around the cathedral was also enjoyable.

We both enjoyed our meal and after a small amount of shopping and returning the watch to the store it came from we walked back to the station via Northernhay Gardens. The roses and rose hips here were looking very good. A lovely day out.

A busy evening packing things for a few days away with a photography friend. My husband is also away cycling with his friends.
