Busy times in the park - Korsmässomarknad

A few days ago I blipped the town park with the cathedral in the background. Now I'm blipping basically the same picture but today the annual Korsmässo market is happening so there are many more people around.
Each year there are several markets visiting Härnösand but most of them have a fair number of stalls selling cheap stuff. This September market specialises in quality goods so there are many craft people selling their creations, and there's a lot of seasonal produce from nearby farms. There are several stalls selling locally produced cheeses, crisp bread, and honey.
We bought some cheese and a little honey, but we are mainly there to meet people and on a day like today it's easy to stand and talk. Actually, in view of Jan's ankle it's better to sit and talk and that's what we did.
Jan's blip shows the fungi display with around 80 different fungi all collected in the last few days. The most crowded section shows around 40 different edible fungi, while a surprisingly few visitors are checking out the really poisonous section with about 10 species you really don't want to eat!! There's also a selection of not poisonous but not worth eating mushrooms and the final section tells you which mushrooms to die wool with, to create a beautiful set of muted colours.
This market is another marker of the end of summer, and now, even on a windless day with the sun shining brightly most people are wearing jackets or jumpers.
As I write this I can hear (even through the double glazing) the latest seasonal marker from the forest. The red deer stags are grunting or moaning their very loud rutting call. The year moves on...
