Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Looking back...

I felt a bit better when I woke this morning and have continued to improve throughout the day. My plan had been to go to church, to introduce our Interim Pastor to the congregation and then to come home again. I felt much better when I was there and didn't sneeze, cough or use my hanky once, so decided I was not such a high risk any longer and stayed .
We came home after the service and had bacon rolls before I drove Andrew and myself up to Perth. Colin had been going to do this while I stayed home nursing my cold, he was sinking fast with the cold now though so the roles were reversed.
We made good time and managed to park in Methven Street, so went for a coffee in a little cafe called the Bulldog Frog. My blip is of some of the old album sleeves and memorabilia on the shelves.
The service in the cathedral went well. There were about 20 of our congregation there, and there was cake! Extra
By the time I got home it was almost 7pm so it was definitely Chinese takeaway night. Now we are officially without a Rector and the fun begins
