To peel cut out the bad bits and chop these, then cook them down to freeze. Enjoyable though. I suppose people have done this for centuries - taken the produce of autumn and found ways to save the goodness for winter.
And while I did it I listened to my team, Arsenal, win away at Spurs. If you are at all interested in football you will know that is a pleasure.
I did my big supermarket shop and am organised for a couple of weeks. Also booked 3 lots of train tickets for upcoming journeys.
