Lazy Days & Thursdays

Thursday - Rugby Club - preparations for Saturdays ‘double header’, Colts kick off at 10:30, 2’s at 2:45 and 1’s at 3:00, it’s going to be a busy day.
Todays saga was the electronic scoreboard, continually reported as not working when it only requires switching on, charging leads for the handset disappear weekly, are replaced, only to again disappear and the handset aerial is damaged.
So we powered it up, proved it working and then having finished everything else headed off.
In the evening I combined Paddy’s walk with watching Sam train only to be told yet again that the scoreboard wasn’t working, powered up and demonstrated working apparently displaying ‘D D’ (it is in fact ‘88’ demonstrating all the bulbs are working).

Paddy enjoyed being fed dog biscuits from the clubhouse bar, I enjoyed watching Sam train, not long until their first match of the season.
