Duckpool

It was a cloudier day today and we decided to head first of all to Duckpool.  We had thought of stopping off at other places on our route home but in the end we ended up spending all day here.  It's a delightful small bay and not so popular as the other larger beaches maybe because it is fairly dangerous for swimming with no life guards.  We arrived as the tide was out and had fun exploring the array of rock and rocky pools before the tide started to come in.  Throughout the day  two people were surfing and then later on a small group of hardy swimmers enjoyed a little time amongst the waves, see extras

The more interesting photography was probably about mid tide and by then it was beginning to get cold and the waves pretty rough.  We were very happy to indulge in tea and cakes at the mobile van on the beach before heading back home.

It's been a lovely two days of photography and fairly tiring.  I'm several days behind now and will hope to find time soon to visit journals.
